I'm a Game Engineer Generalist with a large breadth of experience. I need new and difficult problems to keep me interested. Over the years, I've implemented a version of most standard game features, and have accumulated

• 3 years experience using Unity for game development in a student org / class setting
• 4 years experience using Unreal Engine in a professional setting on a large-scale multiplayer FPS

My personal projects:

Troubled Waters

• Main programmer on a team of 5 (senior design project)
• Rapid iteration and prototyping to "find the fun" (devblogs Gold, Beta, Alpha)
• Implemented ship movement
• Implemented enemy AI using A-Star pathfinding library
• Drag-n-drop UI for crew allocation

Circuitry

• Programming lead. Total team size of 25
• Task distrubution via Jira
• Responsible for all code reviews (using BitBucket)
• git repo maintainence, and CI for auto-generating a build after a push
• Handled crucial bugfixes and optimizations
• Chose and maintained unity packages and middleware integrations (WWise for audio)
• Implemented in-game console for debug commands (` key)
